Daniëlle Futselaar is well known to many at ASTRON and JIVE for her beautiful artwork, which has featured in many press releases, on the covers of magazines, and in newspapers. Recently, Daniëlle wrote and illustrated a new kids book entitled Het Geheime Heelal (The Secret Universe) which presents a fantastic journey through the cosmos. I had the honour of fact-checking the book and, in the foreword of the book, Daniëlle kindly thanks all of the scientists working to unravel the mysteries of the Universe.
Just as exciting: Daniëlle is being honoured in late November with the induction of her digital artwork into the permanent collection of the Rijksmuseum Boerhaave in Leiden.
