Bart Lijdsman, from the YouTube channel Weet Je Dat Ook Weer (weetjedatookweer.nl), recently visited the LOFAR superterp and the Astron HQ. The goal? To introduce the Netherlands to the fact that we are the center of the world's largest radio telescope! Most Dutch people have no clue, so it’s time to change that. The goal was to make a video anyone can follow, where Bart asks the questions we all have and find out what makes LOFAR so special. You can watch the video online on Weet Je Dat Ook Weer.
On the Photo you can see Bart standing next to the Dwingeloo telescope, this reminds us where we came from and how we grew from largest to even larger telescope.
