SIG Agile

On October 3rd, my colleague Karol Popławski and I, organized the first Special Interest Group Agile for the institutes of NWO-I. The idea was to bring people from the different institutes together to exchange knowledge and experience regarding the Agile way of working. Next to that we wanted to enthuse the people who are not working Agile yet.

With that said, the word Agile is both positively and negatively associated. Our view of the Agile way or working is that it makes it possible to quickly adapt to changes in our environment, taking the organization's, its people's and our customers' well-being in account. By iteratively making changes and improvements, it is possible to do the right thing and do the things right. Resulting in higher quality and happier people.

All three made clear that it is not about the word Agile, but in the end, it is about what you do with it.

I'm looking back at a great and inspiring day which brought new connections, ideas and food for thought.
