The SKA Regional Centres Network Agile Release Train (SRCNet ART) planned for the upcoming Program Increment and SRCNet ART team Tangerine came together for this.
The SRCNet ART will develop the network of nodes needed to support the data access of the SKA; at this moment, 10 teams have been set up to build prototypes for components and systems that will have to run in those systems. Team Tangerine is one of those teams, and focuses on the development of a science gateway(see also daily image of 3 October 2023). The goal of this platform is to connect users with the complex, distributed system of processing systems needed for processing the SKA data and turning it into science.
Beginning of March this year, most of team Tangerine came together in the Observatoire de Paris, kindly hosted by SKA France to plan the next three months worth of work. In this period, the team will improve the user experience of the platform under development, and connect it with different services.
In the picture, you see the Observartoire de Paris and the team members from Tangerine present, hardworking Tangerines, and the team getting a tour of the observatory.
