Four months of DTS…!

Remember this? On May 10th, we celebrated the opening event of the Dwingeloo Test Station (DTS) of LOFAR2.0 Station development project. Now, almost 4 months later, we have completed the DTS test program and today we will review the test results of that period.

To show a glimpse of the incredible amount of work done and the results that have been obtained by the development team in that period, I created this picture collage. I won't go into any details of all the things that you see here. Instead, I invite you to ask one of your LOFAR2.0 colleagues to tell about his or her greatest result.

After today's review, we will prepare the moving of the DTS hardware to the LOFAR1 station CS001, which will start a whole new phase in the project. As a project manager, I am proud of the team that made this all possible! More fascinating results will follow soon!
