Saturn remains a marvelous object, even seen through a modest telescope. This image was captured on the 8th of August with a 250 mm F/15 Schmidt-Cassegrain and a ASI178MC camera from my back yard. The image is based on a stack of the best 5000 frames out of a 20000 frame SER movie, done, to get rid of the significant air turbulence of that evening as much as possible. This technique is called 'Lucky Imaging', and I have to confess, with this result you feel really lucky!
