Bachelor Students Applied Physics on Safari in Innovative Northern Netherlands

Finally, after the long corona resctrictions, a bus full of students visiting ICD (Innovatie Cluster Drachten) in the North of the Netherlands. This time Applied Physics from Eindhoven University of Technology: TUE.

In the morning to Whisper Power in Drachten with a presentation about “All electric propulsion”, a tour through the factory and a presentation “3D Metal Printing” by Philips.

Then to Astron with a presentation about “Big Data and IP” by Johan and a look and feel of real hardware in the lab of antennas, electronics, backends by Gijs. And a demo of our old, but shiny Dwingeloo radio telescope, by Tammon Jan.

The bachelor students were very enthusiastic about the entire day. And the 4th year supervisors wouldn't have wanted to miss it either. Another successful Safari organized by ICD.
