Non-thermal emission associated with GW170817 revealed the relativistic jet launched in the merger, with its axis directed away from us. Such an off-axis viewing angle helped obtain a novel perception of Gamma-Ray Bursts. For the first time, the lateral structure of the relativistic outflow could be studied in detail. I will present our follow-up campaign of GW170817 by the Giant Metre-wave Radio Telescope (GMRT) in low radio frequencies. I will also describe the unique role radio observations can play in deciphering outflows from Neutron Star mergers.
