On Tuesday 24th of September, the MTR of LOFAR4SW took place at Brussels. The EC Project Officer and External Reviewer were "impressed by the excellent science uses cases, smooth management and positive attitude within the project-team".
We have had very nice and lively discussions and received constructive feedback on our work of the initial 18 months of the project.
With this feedback we can further improve the project towards the User Workshop, 6/7 November 2019 and the Detailed Design Review, January 2020.
Congratulations to the team, thanks for the input and effort.
The MTR was my final act as LOFAR4SW Project Manager. It has been an honor serving the project.
We're looking forward to Carla Baldovin (ASTRON) taking up as PM towards the remaining part of the project.
